A French Legacy

Joe Dassin’s Greatest Hits Return to the Stage

“Salut!” Julien Dassin Sings Joe Dassin is more than a tribute. It is a celebration of love, family, and the songs that have shaped generations. Presented by Cherry Orchard Festival and Show One Productions, the concert brings the nostalgic melodies and timeless hits of Joe Dassin, one of France’s most beloved chansonniers, back to the stage as his son Julien Dassin carries his father’s music and legacy forward.

The Challenge

Promoting “Salut!” Julien Dassin Sings Joe Dassin meant building a campaign around emotion, memory and cultural connection. The show had to speak to very different audiences across North America, including English, French, Polish-speaking communities, while still feeling consistent as one project. Each market needed the right message, tone, and creative approach. We had to localize the full funnel carefully, from ad copy and subject lines to visuals and landing-page experience, so the campaign felt personal and relevant in every city.

The Outcome

We built a full-service multilingual campaign that gave the project a strong and cohesive presence across North America. Paid media, email marketing, social content, design, and video all worked together to support the show’s identity and guide audiences through the funnel. Across Google and Meta Ads, the campaign delivered 2.8M+ impressions, reached 643K+ people, and generated 77K+ website visits. Alongside that, organic social expanded visibility even further, helping support 7.6K+ total ticket sales across the run.

How We Got There

The approach combined thoughtful localization with a clear creative system built for a multi-city run

We started by building a strong campaign foundation the show could carry across every market. That meant shaping a clear visual direction, defining the core message, and creating a system flexible enough to work across paid media, email, social, print, and the event page without losing consistency. From there, we localized the funnel for different language communities and audience segments. We adapted ad copy, subject lines, creative details, and messaging across English, French, and Polish-speaking markets, making sure the campaign felt culturally relevant and human rather than simply translated. We also supported the project with a full creative rollout around the show itself, from teasers, promo videos, posters, flyers, and digital banners to on-site interview filming and social content. This helped give the campaign both structure and energy, while keeping the identity of the project strong across all nine shows.

Audience Engagement

We supported the campaign through social media and community-based promotion that helped the show stay visible, culturally relevant, and active beyond paid advertising alone. In Toronto, we also filmed testimonial-style content to capture real audience reactions and extend the life of the campaign through more personal, experience-driven storytelling.

Looking Back

Helping this tribute resonate across languages and generations made the work feel especially meaningful

There was something especially personal about this project from the very beginning. Joe Dassin’s music already carried so much memory for so many people, and our role was to help that feeling travel across cities, languages, and communities in a way that still felt honest. Seeing the campaign come together across nine shows made this one genuinely meaningful to be part of.
