Social Media & Content Specialist

We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media & Content Specialist to join Sprobuj, a Toronto-based, full-service marketing and advertising agency working with clients across different industries.

You'll help manage our clients' social media accounts, from developing content plans and writing engaging posts to editing short-form videos, publishing content, and growing online communities. We're looking for someone who understands social media trends, brings fresh ideas, and can adapt content to different brands and audiences.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced agency environment, where you'll manage multiple accounts, work with deadlines, and occasionally support influencer outreach, partnerships, and content capture at events or client locations in Toronto.

This is a remote-first, part-time position for candidates based in Toronto or the GTA. Occasional in-person availability and some flexibility during Eastern Time working hours are required.

• Develop and manage content calendars and social media plans for multiple client accounts.
• Write engaging captions, posts, Stories, and other social media copy tailored to different brands and platforms.
• Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Edit engaging short-form videos, including Reels, TikToks, Stories, and video creatives for paid advertising.
• Create and adapt social media content using existing footage, graphics, brand assets, and creative briefs.
• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions, helping maintain active online communities.
• Research trends, develop fresh content ideas, and identify opportunities to grow reach, engagement, and followers.
• Monitor social media performance, prepare basic reports, and recommend improvements.
• Occasionally research and reach out to relevant influencers, creators, and potential brand partners.
• Occasionally capture photo and video content at client locations, events, and projects in Toronto.

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, businesses, or clients, supported by examples of real work.
• Strong content planning, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
• Confident understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and their content formats and best practices.
• Strong short-form video editing skills, including Reels, TikToks, Stories, and promotional videos.
• Experience using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Ability to develop content ideas, follow trends, and adapt creative approaches to different brands and audiences.
• Experience with social media scheduling, publishing, and community management tools.
• Understanding of social media analytics, engagement, audience growth, and content performance.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English and Ukrainian.
• Must be based in Toronto or the GTA and available for occasional in-person content capture.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a marketing or creative agency.
• Experience with influencer outreach, creator collaborations, or brand partnerships.
• Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
• Experience creating video content for paid social advertising.
• Experience capturing social-first content at events, performances, or client locations.
